Former under-age stars Raymond Mulgrew and Adrian Ball have cemented places in Mickey Harte's new Tyrone squad.

Five other newcomers who featured in the Dr McKenna Cup campaign have failed to make the cut.

Harte has named an experienced panel which includes recalls for four members of the 2003 All-Ireland winning side - Kevin Hughes, Gerard Cavlan, Cormac McGinley and Dermot Carlin.

Absent from the 31-man squad are five members of last year's All-Ireland winning group - Peter Cavanan, Chris Lawn, Colm McCullagh, Mark Harte and Leo Meenan.

There is no place in the new squad for Tommy McGuigan, Colm Donnelly, Aidan McCarron, Paul Quinn and Brendan Boggs.
