Dessie Rogers has formally asked for his name to be withdrawn from the nominations for the position of physiotherapist to the Meath Senior football team.
On Monday the Meath County board made it clear that manager Eamonn Barry would have to choose an alternative physio to Rogers, a move which saw Barry revealing he may not stay in charge due to the disagreement.
Barry wanted Rogers as his team physio, and also wanted his brother, Martin, involved.
Neither were ratified by the county board causing friction between the two camps.
