Mick O'Dwyer will stay on as Laois senior football manager for at least one more year, it has been confirmed.
O'Dwyer, who was reportedly close to a move to Dublin at this time last year, was bitterly disappointed by the manner in which his side were dumped out of the Bank of Ireland All-Ireland football championship by Armagh this year.
However, after a meeting with the Laois county board this week the Waterville man decided to stay on for the second year of his two-year term.
