Peter Canavan will start his first Championship game since the 2003 All-Ireland final when Tyrone line out for Sunday's Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final against Cavan.
Canavan has been in and out of Mickey Harte's panel over the last two years as he struggled to shake off his long-term ankle problem. But his comeback proper looked on when he tormented the Down defence during his second half appearance last month.
And now, named at centre half-forward for the weekend Clones encounter, his rehabilitation seems complete.
Meanwhile, Conor Gormley moves from defence to midfield to replace the injured Colin Holmes. Davy Harte, therefore, starts at right wing-back. Brendan Donnelly is selected at right wing-forward while Martin Penrose is shifted to the left wing.
Ryan Mellon is named as a substitute, as are Brian McGuigan (recently returned from Australia) and captain Brian Dooher (recovering from an ankle problem).
Tyrone: P McConnell; R McMenamin, C Lawn, S Sweeney; D Harte, G Devlin, P Jordan; C Gormley, S Cavanagh; B Donnelly, P Canavan, M Penrose; O Mulligan, S O'Neill, E McGinley.
