Jason Sherlock has been omitted from the Dublin side to face Wexford in Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final at Croke Park.

Sherlock is replaced by Mark Vaughan in the only change from the side that beat Meath in the quarter-final.

The Kilmacud Crokes forward will be making his first championship start for the Dubs, but has already tasted top-class action after coming off the bench in previous games against both Meath and Longford.

His two long-range frees against the Royals helped Dublin over the line after Tomas Quinn had mis-fired several placed balls earlier in the game.

Dublin (SFC v Wexford): S Cluxton; P Griffin, P Christie, S O’Shaughnessy; P Casey, B Cahill, C Goggins; C Whelan, S Ryan; C Moran, A Brogan, B Cullen; M Vaughan, C Keaney, T Quinn.
