Fears that former All Star Adrian Sweeney, was out of Sunday week's Championship clash with Armagh have proven to be a little premature.
Sweeney, who pulled up in a club game over the weekend with a suspected groin strain, was rated as extremely doubtful earlier in the week by Brian McEniff, has recovered and played in a challenge game against Galway on Tuesday.
He was introduced in the second half and was one of the positives in the 0-12 to 0-9 defeat.
Meanwhile, corner back Niall McCready is a major injury doubt and was on crutches at Tuesday night’s game, after injuring his ankle in a club game on Saturday.
