John Martyn replaces shoulder injury-victim Nigel Clancy at centre back for Sligo's Bank of Ireland Connacht Senior Football Championship opener against Leitrim in Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday.
The experienced Clancy broke down in training last week and doesn't even feature on the Yeats County's substitutes' bench.
Adrian Marren, who played in last year's under-21 side, is named at right corner forward, while Brendan Egan starts at wing forward.
