Monaghan make two changes in personnel from the team that defeated Derry in Clones on Sunday last for Sunday's Division 2 final against Meath in Croke Park.
Rory Woods, who was sent off on a straight red card, is replaced in attack by Dermot McArdle, while Dick Clerkin comes in for Mark Daly at top of the left.
Gary McQuaid, who had to go off injured on Sunday, has been receiving daily treatment on his knee injury and is named at right full back.
Sunday is something of an unique record for Dick Clerkin as twenty years ago in 1985 and almost to the day, his father Hugo Clerkin lined out for Monaghan against Armagh in that year' s National League final along with Gerry McCarville, Bernie Murray and Gerard Hoey, who are Seamus McEnaney's selectors.
