Laois have made six changes in their team to play Wexford in Sunday's crunch National Football league game at Wexford Park.

Aidan Fennelly, Paul Begley and Tom Kelly replace Colm Begley, Kieran Kelly and Padraig McMahon in defence.

In attack Stephen Kelly, Billy Sheehan and Donal Miller come in for Mark Dunne, Donie Brennan and Paul Lawlor.

Tom Kelly return to the centre back spot for the first time since he was injured in the O’Byrne Cup game against Kilkenny in early January.

Donal Miller starts his first game in over a year while Paul Begley older brother of Colm will play his first ever-senior competitive game for Laois.

Ian Fitzgerald is included in the subs having trained with the panel for the first time this year but regular full back Portlaoise’s Colm Byrne has informed the selectors that he will not be rejoining the panel this year.

Mick O’Dwyer has decided to give the three under 21 players Colm Begley, Padraig McMahon and Donie Brennan a rest after their hectic schedule of the past few weeks.
