Armagh have been hit by the news that Tony McEntee is likely to miss the remainder of their Allianz National Football League campaign.
McEntee tore ligaments during Crossmaglen Rangers' 0-8 to 0-7 defeat in Sunday's AIB All-Ireland Club Championship semi-final defeat at Parnell Park.
Meanwhile, any hopes Tyrone fans had of Gerard Cavlan returning to Mickey Harte's squad in the near future appear to have been scuppered by his latest injury.
Cavlan broke his arm whilst playing for his club Dungannon at the weekend and has since had a plate inserted.
The former All Star opted out of Tyrone's league campaign, citing his inability to provide the required commitment. However, it had been hoped that he would rejoin the Tyrone set-up in the not too distant future.
