The Offaly County Board will meet tonight to try and resolve the crisis, which has seen the county's footballers and hurlers withdraw their services for the forthcoming season.
Football manager Gerry Fahy resigned on Monday night, citing lack of support from the County Board as the reason.
The players then withdrew their services in support of Fahy before holding a meeting last night to elaborate on their grievances with the board, particularly the treatment of Fahy.
The County Board will tonight address those grievances and attempt to resolve the crisis.
