Colm Copper: recovering from a hamstring injury

Kerry manager Jack O'Connor will wait until the end of the week before deciding on Colm Cooper's fitness ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland football semi-final against Derry at Croke Park.

Cooper picked up a hamstring injury in the All-Ireland quarter-final win over Dublin and was subsequently withdrawn from the Kerry team that lost to Cork in the Munster Under-21 final last Tuesday night.

Cooper did some light jogging at the weekend and has undergone regular physiotherapy treatment.

Séamus Moynihan, however, has been ruled out of contention.

Derry are sweating on the fitness of half-back Francis McEldowney, who has been unable to train since picking up a back injury in the quarter-final victory over Westmeath.

Star forward Paddy Bradley has a minor heel problem but is expected to start.
