Sligo duo fit to face Roscommon

Sligo manager James Kearins will have star forwards Dessie Sloyan and Gerry McGowan available for Sunday's Connacht SFC opener against Roscommon at Hyde Park. Kearins has had to play recent challenge matches without the influential duo who have been nursing knee and collar bone injuries respectively.

Sligo have continued preparations for Sunday's clash in Roscommon, with recent victories over Wicklow and Fermanagh and added to defeats to Westmeath and Donegal.

Adrian Marren (achilles), Dara McGarty (toe) and Padraig Doohan (back) are also expected to be at full fitness despite their recent injury problems.

Corner forward Ger Heneghan makes his Championship debut for Roscommon. Manager Tommy Carr is without injured defenders Ray Cox (groin) and Paul Noone (back) and the suspended wing back Morgan Beirne.

The game will be screened live on RTÉ Network 2.
