Mayo footballer James Gill will to return to the county panel in time for their assault on the All Ireland Championship. 23-year-old Westport clubman Gill has spent most of the winter inter-railing around Europe and missed out on the entire league campaign.
Mayo manager John Maughan confirmed after last Sunday's NFL defeat to Westmeath that the talented midfielder will return to the fold next week. His return will be welcomed by the Mayo fans as midfield has proved to be a problem area in recent times.
