Malachy O'Rourke has turned down the offer to succeed Dominic Corrigan as Fermanagh football manager. O'Rourke who is currently in charge of club Loup of Derry claimed that he want to concentrate on the job in hand.
The Loup boss said: "The timing wasn't right. We've asked for massive commitment from the players since we went to Loup. They haven't let us down with the dedication they have shown. For us to try to juggle the two jobs now would not be fair on the players, who have given so much. I felt that we'be be letting down the club."
Loup are the current Ulster club champions and will play Caltra of Galway in the All Ireland semi-finals in Ferbruary.
