Eamonn Barry has agreed to manage successful Meath senior football side Dunshaughlin for another year after losing the battle to become manager of the Royals' senior county team.
The former Meath captain failed to convince the County Board that he should replace current manager Sean Boylan on Monday night.
It was the second year in a row that Barry had failed to oust Boylan, despite leading Dunshaughlin to a Leinster club title.
