Sean Boylan has delivered a strong hint that he wants to stay on as manager of the Meath senior football team, stating "that he's feeling fresh and would consider another term in charge if nominated".
Under Boylan's 21-year reign, Meath have won four All-Ireland titles, however, the Dunboyne man but came under a lot of pressure to retain his post at last year's County Convention vote.
However, a change in the managerial appointment process this year could favour Boylan - candidates will be nominated and then interviewed, with the successful applicant then ratified by the County Board.
