Maughan to decide on Brady role

Mayo boss John Maughan and his selectors, former great Liam McHale and George Golden, must soon decide if they are to go without star midfielder David Brady.

The management team met with Brady before the Christmas but the towering midfielder still hasn't indicated if he can give the 100% commitment that Maughan and his men require.

Brady will be involved with the Ballina rugby team until late March, that is much too late to return to the county football panel according to Maughan and McHale.

The duel sportsman is also rumored to be considering joining Peter Forde and Sligo if the training impass in Mayo cannot be overcome.
