McEniff returns to Donegal hotseat

Brian McEniff has returned to the role of Donegal's senior football manager only a month after being named as the county chairman.

In his role as chairman, McEniff made no secret of his desire to see Martin McHugh succeed Mickey Moran who departed after Donegal lost in last year's championship. However, once that option had been ruled out, McEniff somehwat reluctantly decided to return to the manager's hotseat.

McEniff, who took Donegal to the All Ireland title in 1992, is unlikely to see his selectors named for another fortnight even though Donegal play Cavan in the Centenary McKenna Cup on Sunday week.
