Donegal football manager resigns

Donegal senior football manager, Mickey Moran, has resigned his post. He brought Donegal to the Ulster final, where they lost narrowly to Armagh, before going out of the Championship in a replay to Dublin.

The Glen man's resignation was last night accepted by the Donegal county board, and several counties are now believed to be interested in Moran's services. Reports have tipped him to take over from Eamon Coleman at Derry.
