Influential Kerry midfielder Dara Ó Sé faces an anxious wait to see if he is reported for striking in Sunday's club game between An Ghaeltacht and Austin Stacks. Ó Sé was given a straight red card after only six minutes in his side's victory over Stacks, and as a result could face a minimum four week suspension.
That would rule the Kerry captain out of their Bank of Ireland All-Ireland semi-final clash with Munster rivals Cork later this month. County Board officials meet tonight to discuss Castleisland referee Tom McCarthy's report of the game, and any resulting judgement will depend on his wording of the incident.
