Liam Hassett is back in the Kerry team for the first time in over a year for their Allianz National Football League Division Two semi-final against Meath. Hassett, who has recovered from a serious knee injury, plays at full-forward instead of the injured Dara O Cinneide. Séamus Moynihan returns to full back in place of Eamonn Fitzmaurice, Marc Ó Sé (another nephew of Páidí) starts at wing back in place of Tom O'Sullivan, and Séamus Scanlon takes over from Kenneth Dillon at midfield.
In the forward line, Declan Quill and Mike Frank Russell replace Sean O'Sullivan and Ian Twiss respectively.
