National Football League preview

Anthony Rainbow returns to the Kildare line-up for Sunday’s Allianz National Football League clash with Derry at Newbridge. Rainbow, who will start at the centre back position on Sunday, was forced out of last weekend’s draw with Sligo due to injury.

Kevin Walsh and Thomas Meehan return to the Galway team for Sunday’s clash with Westmeath at Mullingar. Meehan returns at corner-back while Walsh replace Sean O’Domhnaill at mid-field.

Mayo have made a number of changes from the side which started against Down last week for Sunday’s game against Clare at Cusack Park. David Heaney has been switched to wing-back, Alan Roche starts at corner back and Pat Coyne takes over the number three jersey. David Nestor returns to the attack while Michael Moyles moves back to the midfield position.

Mattie Kerrigan has named an unchanged line-up for Cavan’s game against Fermanagh at Brewster Park while Laois will also play Carlow with the same team that defeated Meath.
