Offaly leave two vacancies in line-up

Offaly have left two vacancies at right half-forward and full-forward in their side to face Dublin in this weekend's first round of action in the Allianz National League. Colm Quinn and Neville Coughlan are hoping to be passed fit to play at Tullamore on Sunday and manager Padraig Nolan is giving the pair until the last possible minute to prove their fitness. The team also includes two new faces with John Hurst and Donie Claffey making their League debuts at right half-back and right corner-back respectively.

Meanwhile, Dublin's new manager Tommy Lyons has opted for youth over experience as he hands eight players their League debuts in Sunday's clash. Stephen Cluxton, who played in the Championship last season, will be making his first League appearance alongside David Henry, Paul Casey, Barry Cahill, Eoin Bennis, James O’Connor, John McNally and Alan Brogan.
