Former Dublin manager Tommy Carr is set to act as an advisor to the Wexford football team on physical fitness and mental attitude matters. Carr twice eliminated Wexford from the Championship during his tenure as Dublin boss, but the county is expected to make more progress under the new "back-door" system.
"I'm haven't really given the position any title, but I'm happy to help Wexford out in whatever way I can. It's just a matter of offering opinions on what the county can do to build upon the improvements it has been making in recent times," said Carr, who will offer advice to coach Ger Halligan.
