GAA officials will discuss Na Fianna's controversial 3-11 to 1-8 Leinster Club Football semi-final replay win over Sarsfields of Kildare after the Dublin side used too many substitutes.
Jason Sherlock was taken off with several minutes to go, but this was Na Fianna's sixth substitution. Bainisteoir Mick Galvin refused to be drawn on the issue, saying "We are very happy with the result – I don't really have the facts. To be honest with you, I don't know." The Leinster Council is expected to consider the situation on Tuesday evening.
It was more straightforward for Rathnew of Wicklow, who booked their place in the Leinster Football final with victory over Edenderry of Offaly at Newbridge by 1-10 to 0-10. In the O'Byrne Cup today, there were wins for Wicklow and Louth.
