The draw for the fourth and final round of Bank of Ireland All-Ireland football qualifiers has been made, with four intriguing matches in store for GAA fans in the four provinces. Cork, beaten in today's Munster final by Kerry, will have to overcome the might of Galway, who will be looking to make up for their disappointing early exit in Connacht to eventual winners Roscommon.
Sligo will be hoping to build on their impressive win over Kildare at Croke Park last weekend when they face beaten Leinster finalists Dublin in what promises to be a tense occasion. There will be an all-Ulster affair following Derry's pairing with Cavan, who were unlucky to lose by two points to Tyrone in last weekend's provincial final.
In the final qualifier, Westmeath have been drawn against beaten Connacht finalists Mayo. Dates and venues are to be decided at a specially arranged meeting tomorrow, although all games will played, and decided, next weekend. The winners of these games will join the four provincial winners in the quarter-final draw.
The complete draw is:
Westmeath v Mayo
Galway v Cork
Sligo v Dublin
Derry v Cavan
Meanwhile, the draw for the Guinness hurling championship quarter-finals has also been made, with Derry to meet Connacht giants Galway and Limerick to meet beaten Leinster finalists Wexford.
