Forde returns to Wexford line-up

Mattie Forde returns to the Wexford team for this Saturday's All-Ireland Football Championship qualifier against Westmeath. Forde missed out on the Leinster Championship defeat to Laois as he was recovering from a cartilage operation. However, he has now regained full fitness and was named in the left corner-forward position for Saturday's game. The 22-year-old Killanerin player comes in for Mick Mahon. No other changes have been made to the team which lost out to Laois.

Longford have named star forward Enda Barden among their substitutes for their All-Ireland Championship qualifer against Wicklow. Barden is still suffering from the knee injury which led to his substitution in the defeat to Dublin. His younger brother Paul will switch to centre-forward with Arthur O'Connor coming in at wing-forward. There is one other change to Longford's line-up with 19-year-old Dermot Brady making his championship debut at corner-back, replacing Paul Jones. Wicklow will be without Gary Jameson who is suffering from a hamstring injury.

Louth have been forced to make three changes to their team ahead of their Championship qualifier against Tipperary this weekend because of injuries to key players. David Brennan comes in at centre-back in place of Stephen Melia. Darren Kirwan is in at right half-forward, taking over from Martin Farrelly while Colin Kelly replaces JP Rooney at corner-forward.

Tipperary, meanwhile, have made four changes to their line-up. Damien Byrne, Niall Fitzgerald, Kieran Maguire and James Williams, all substitutes used during the defeat to Kerry, will come in for Dan Hackett, Kevin Mulryan, Eamonn Hanrahan and Tommy Connors.
