Leitrim have named their team for Sunday's Connacht Football Championship clash with Galway but have left a vacant spot in midfield. Manager Joe Reynolds is hoping Paul McDermott will pass a fitness test in time for the match to fill the vacancy. Fergal Reynolds returns to championship action after a three-year absence and will line out at wing-back. Wing forwards Padraig McGarry and Jimmy McGuckian will both make their championship debuts.
Meanwhile, Carlow manager Pat Roe has named an unchanged side for Sunday's Leinster Football Championship replay against Wicklow at Newbridge. Wicklow however, will delay naming their team until later today or tomorrow because several players are currently sitting exams while others are suffering from minor injuries.
