Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan was happy to have the consolation of a first World Cup point and her memorable save from Nigeria player Uchenna Kanu in their tournament swansong.
Kanu looked like scoring early in the second half, only for Brosnan to push the ball away and keep the game scoreless.
It was the highlight of a game of few chances in which the conservative Irish side were happy to come away with the draw and clean sheet.
Brosnan said: "It was an unbelievable cross - one of those teasing ones - and I thought I could come. At the last second I dropped back and I knew I needed to make a special save on the line so I just sort of threw my body at it.
"I wanted to keep us in because I knew we deserved something from today so I'm really happy with that.
"We were disappointed not to make it out of the group and we thought we deserved something from the tournament so it's great to get a point on the board. Obviously we wanted three but to keep a clean sheet is amazing. It's a testament to this team. We have worked to the very end, we wanted to show we deserved to be here and we did."

The Ireland players gathered at full-time and looked to be praising their goalkeeper as she received the player of the match award.
The 27-year-old was asked by RTÉ Sport about that moment but preferred to focus on the team element.
"Vera [Pauw] and Katie [McCabe] said we're proud to be here for our country and it showed we deserved to be here.
"We grew and held our own against three top, top teams and we're really proud of that. The disappointment shows we deserved to be here, we have to keep moving on and it's not the last time you'll see Ireland here.
"We've all said before we had we have the fans in the world. The support here and at home has been unbelievable. We're so proud be able to put on this shirt and represent our country."
Lily Agg, who replaced Lucy Quinn in the Irish midfield at the Suncorp Stadium, reflected on what might have been from the tournament when she spoke to RTÉ Sport.
"We are do disappointed to be out. In the three games we have competed, we've turned up and have given a great account of ourselves and it's the smallest of margins within games; the penalty, then we went in front and then conceded two goals.
"It's our first major tournament and we are ready to come back, we want it to be normal from here on out, this team is only going to grow and grow."
