The Republic of Ireland saw their Women's World Cup hopes dashed by Canada despite taking a lead in Perth.
After a magnificent first-half showing, things proved more difficult in the next 45 minutes.
Here we look at how the players performed:
Courtney Brosnan - 8
Ireland stayed in the game, as she pulled off a string of excellent saves. The pick of the bunch was at the start of the second half when Jordyn Huitema tried to score from distance.
Niamh Fahey - 6
Another solid showing from the Galway native. The only negative about her performance was a shot in the 74th minute that went out of play. Ireland had possession and that ended a spell in the Canadian half. It was a poor attempt during a momentum building part of the game for Ireland.
Louise Quinn - 6
The defender was an injury concern before the game, and she gave it her all on the pitch. The only mistake she made gave space to Adriana Leon to score what turned out to be the decisive goal.

Megan Connolly - 5
She was just unlucky with the spin of the ball that led to the equaliser. Connolly broke down everything and stopped Canada from playing through on the left. The one time the defender let her guard down, she was caught ball watching and Canada scored to make it 2-1.
Aine O'Gorman - 6
The Wicklow native was a late change, and she seamlessly adapted to the pace of tournament football. She was energetic and did everything she was asked.
Katie McCabe - 8
It’s not about the goal, but everything she did. The Ireland captain dominated the left wing and was able to come inside when needed. McCabe was an attacking threat and a lynchpin in the Irish defence. She never stopped shouting and giving orders, while pushing the team on as they looked for an equaliser.
Sinead Farrelly - 7
Farrelly never stopped running during her time on the pitch, and she pestered the Canadian defence. She answered a lot of critics that questioned her inclusion for the Australia game.

Denise O'Sullivan - 6
The Irish centurion showed all of her abilities, from close control to shooting from distance. Despite this, she struggled to impose herself in the second half.
Ruesha Littlejohn - 6
The midfielder did what she was told in the middle of the pitch and helped anchor the team by balancing the defence and attack.
Lucy Quinn - 8
The forward started her first game at the World Cup and made an immediate impact as she delivered a deep cross into the box. It was a fearless performance in a pressure cooker.
Kyra Carusa - 8
If anything sums up her game, it was her touch in just the fourth minute that led to the corner that McCabe scored from. Carusa tormented Kadeisha Buchanan, and she was unlucky not to score in the first half after getting around her marker.

Substitutes:
Abbie Larkin - 6
The teenager came on and was given very little room by the Canadian defence. She still showcased her abilities, but was given very little room to fully express herself.
Marissa Sheva - 7
The forward came on and added a new sense of urgency into the Irish forward line. Unfortunately, this was at a time when Ireland's momentum was faltering and there was not much Sheva could do given the wider feel around the stadium.

Amber Barrett - 5
The striker did what she could during a difficult second half for Ireland. The country’s frustrations were epitomised when she fouled in the final third and ended a spell for Ireland in possession. It ended a promising period for the team, which was a mis-step by the striker.
Lily Agg - 6
The midfielder came on and tried a shot from distance. There was only so much she could do during a period that saw Ireland struggle to assert themselves in the final third.
Izzy Atkinson - 5
The quietest of cameos from the West Ham star. Canada’s shape got the better of Ireland’s 4-2-4 and that hindered Atkinson’s style of play.
