Ireland's Denis Lynch has received a three-month ban from the FEI after his horse Lantinus tested positive for a banned substance at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong.
Lynch, speaking from Germany to RTÉ today, stated that he was up front with the governing body from the beginning and he has to accept their decision.
He added that all he wants to do is get back into the ring on 21 November when his three months ban ends
Lynch appeared before a civil court in Germany yesterday, but it failed to overturn the decision.
As well as being banned, Lynch has also been been fined just over €1,100 and been ordered to pay €1,305 towards the tribunals costs.
