The FEI the world governing body for equestrian sport have confirmed that they have recommended to CAS that they uphold the suspension of Jessica Kurten that was introduced on Saturday last.

Kurten, who tested positive with Castle Forbes Maike in La Baule, France last season, was issued with a two month ban but on Thursday last appealed the decision to CAS.

CAS asked for a stay of exucutation to the FEI, but it was denied and as a result she wasn't allowed to compete in Holland over the weekend.

CAS will make a decision in due course as to what will happen from here on in.
