Ireland's Jessica Kurten tied for second place with Germany's Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum in the Rolex Grand Prix at Geneva, Switzerland, while Meredith's brother-in-law Ludger Beerbaum took the winner's prize.

Kurten, riding the bay mare Castle Forbes Libertina, who had given her a convincing win on Saturday night, was one of 11 riders through to the jump-off at the climax of the five star show, but both she and Michaels-Beerbaum, with the famous Hanoverian Shutterfly, stopped the clock second time out at exactly 38.45.

Ludger Beerbaum, riding All Inclusive NRW crossed the line in 38.40 seconds to take the 24,000 euro prize.

As joint runners-up, Antrim-born Kurten and Michaels-Beerbaum each took home E14,500.
