Lynch impresses in Germany

Thirty-one year-old Denis Lynch kept up the Irish pressure at the three-star show in Dresden Germany tonight with a win in the speed class on the 10 year-old Upsilon d'Ocquier.

The Tipperary-born rider, who is now based in Germany, was 1.24seconds clear of Swiss runner-up Werner Muff in the 1m50 competition, with Germany's Ludger Beerbaum just a fraction of a second behind, in third place.

Elsewhere, Mayo rider Cameron Hanley recorded a speed class win at the three-star show in Dresden on Friday with SIEC Aristo, and followed it up with a third place in the Grand Prix Qualifier tonight with SIEC Livello.
