Ireland’s Jessica Kurten this afternoon racked up valuable points for her 07/2008 Show Jumping World Cup effort when finishing second with the talented 11 year-old bay mare Castle Forbes Libertina in the Rolex FEI World Cup class at Stuttgart, Germany.
The 37-year-old Antrim-born rider also collected a 32,000 euro prize purse for her runner-up position, which was just 0.4 of a second behind German winner Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Shutterfly.
Tipperary-born Denis Lynch was also well in contention at Stuttgart today with Lantinus, but two fences down in the jump-off relegated him to 12th overall, with a 1,000 euro prize as consolation.
