Ireland's Denis Lynch figured in the money for the third day running at the five-star meeting in Stuttgart, Germany yesterday.

The in-form Irishman, on board Upsilon d'Ocquier, survived three rounds of the six-bar contest before settling for a four-way tie with Great Britain's John Whitaker, and German riders Markus Renzel and Daniel Deusser.

Earlier in the day, riding Sneesturm, the Tipperary-born rider made the final of the head-to-head knockout event, before losing out to France's Julien Epaillard and Commissario.

Billy Twomey and Cian O'Connor made it a second Irish clean sweep of the weekend at Towerlands, England on Saturday when taking the top two placings in the Unext Masters event.

Four riders survived the opening four rounds, and when the clock came into play it was Corkman Twomey who put in the fastest time on board Tinka's Serenade. O'Connor was just under a second slower on Complete, while the remaining two riders, Great Britain's Tim Gredley and Vicky Tulloch retired.

On Friday O'Connor won the Crown Equestrian-HKM Stakes on Irish Independent Echo Beach, with Twomey in second place on Anastasia.
