Irish riders finished first and fourth in Saturday’s Coruna City Council Grand Prix at La Coruna, Spain.
It was Antrim rider Jessica Kuerten who took the €5,000 first prize going clear twice on Quibell in a time of 37.05 seconds.
Corkman Billy Twomey also conjured two clear rounds out of his mount, Tinka's Serenade, and although his time was four seconds slower than Kuerten's, it was good enough for fourth place among a field of 37 international riders.
Cameron Hanley added to the Irish haul on Sunday with a second place finish in the two-phase speed class at the Spanish fixture in La Coruna.
The Mayo rider stopped the clock on 29 seconds dead with S.I.E.C. Royal Star, failing to topple Spaniard Rutherford Latham from the top slot by three-quarters of a second.
