Breen makes it double delight at Hickstead

Shane Breen made it a double delight for the Irish at Hickstead today when he won the day's closing event, the Sky Sports Speed Classic.

Tipperary-born Breen and his mount Dorada were one of only two pairings not to incur jumping penalties, and were almost one-and-a-half seconds faster than runner-up Ellen Whitaker on Henri de Herne.

Earlier in the afternoon, Marie Burke had steered Chippison to victory in the Longines Classic at the British venue.
