Ireland's Cian O'Connor had his first taste of prize money this weekend at the five-star show in La Coruna, Spain, when he finished second today in the two-phase speed class.
Riding his 12 year-old mare 'Zanoubia', the Meath-based rider was just fractions of a second too slow to catch Brazilian winner Alvaro de Miranda in the final round.
O'Connor is the sole Irish competitor at the Spanish venue.
