Irish showjumping selectors are trying to woo back the owner of Jessica Kurten's top horses.

Lady Georgina Forbes, whose horses include Kurten's Olympic mount Castle Forbes Maike, has said that her horses will not be available to the Irish team in 2006.

It is believed that the move follows Kurten's non-selection for any World Cup fixtures before the New Year.

Kurten, who has refused to ride on teams with Cian O'Connor this season, jumped up to sixth in the world rider rankings last week.
