Outright victory still eluded the Irish contingent at Belfast International Horse Show, though Capt. Shane Carey and Billy Twomey both recorded third places.
Twomey took his with 'Tropicana' in the speed class, won by Britain's Robert Whitaker, while Carey came very close to victory with 'Cruisehill' in the Puissance, where one fence down kept him from sharing equal first with Britain's John Whitaker and Tim Stockdale.
Earlier, Carey scored a sixth place with 'Lismakin' in the big jump-off class.
