Ireland's Jessica Kurten had two of her horses out on the first day of the Gothenburg Horse Show yesterday, steadily improving her positions through the evening. But her big tests will start today when the first of the World Cup Final Qualifying Competitions begin. Kurten will have to jump again on Saturday before she can be sure of qualifying for the World Cup Final itself on Monday.
Yesterday she opened with a 22nd place on Calistro 5, followed by an equal 7th Place on the same horse, and finishing the day with a 6th Place on Bonita 38. Her top horse, Paavo, will feature in the World Cup qualifiers.
