Ricardo Pietreczko won his first European Tour title after producing a superb performance to beat Peter Wright in the final of the Interwetten German Darts Championship in Hildesheim.
The 28-year-old from Berlin did not miss a single dart at a double in a flawless display of finishing to record an 8-4 victory over England's two-time world champion.
Pietreczko reached his first Tour final by defeating George Killington and Stephen Bunting before shocking world number two Michael van Gerwen 7-6 in the last four.
Wright beat Nico Kurz and Damon Heta before seeing off new World Grand Prix champion Luke Humphries 7-5 in the semis.
But Pietreczko delighted the home crowd with a 104 checkout - his fourth 100-plus finish - to seal the title and €30,000 in prize money.
