Antrim's Josh Rock is through to the round of 16 at the World Darts Championship after knocking out tenth seed Nathan Aspinall 4-3 at the Alexandra Palace.
Rock burst out of the blocks with a 180 in the first leg on his way to taking the opening set 3-2. An out-of-sorts Aspinall, who ended up with just a 29% conversion rate on his doubles, steadied the ship somewhat as he took the next two sets.
Rock hit back though, winning the fourth in style, including an 11-dart leg, as he moved to the brink of victory.
Aspinall suddenly seemed to have found form, forcing a decisive set after whitewashing his 21-year-old opponent in the sixth.
But Rock wasn't to be denied, taking the decider 3-1 to advance to the fourth round, where he'll face Jonny Clayton clash on Friday.

Later in the day, reigning champion Peter Wright's title defence came to an end with a shock 4-1 third-round defeat by Kim Huybrechts.
Wright took the first set 3-0, but the Scot was badly out of sorts and Huybrechts seized the initiative by winning seven of the next eight legs.
Huybrechts checked out on 67 for a 3-1 lead and Wright, who was wearing a colourful Christmas shirt, was put out of his misery, as the Belgian claimed the final set 3-2.
Elsewhere, Gerwyn Price vowed to win his second world crown after claiming a maiden TV victory over Raymond van Barneveld.
Five-time world king Van Barneveld's rise up the rankings after twice retiring from the sport had provided the feel-good story at this year’s tournament.
But the 55-year-old was whitewashed 4-0 as world number one Price showed there is no room for sentiment on darts’ biggest stage.
Germany's Gabriel Clemens won six of the final seven legs to beat Jim Williams 4-3 in a see-saw thriller.
Welshman Williams had a match dart to win 4-2. But he could not take out double six for a 126 checkout, and Clemens averaged 112 in the deciding set to book a date with either Danny Noppert or Alan Soutar.
Dimitri Van den Bergh and Clayton had earlier eased through with respective 4-1 victories over Fermanagh man Brendan Dolan and Krzysztof Ratajski.
