This year's World Darts Grand Prix will not take place in Dublin and has been switched to Leicester.
The double-start event was due to return to the Citywest Hotel in West Dublin after a two-year absence during the Covid-19 pandemic but the venue was unavailable for the scheduled dates in October.
Tickets for Dublin had been due to go on sale last month but delayed as organisers tried to find an alternative venue.
The PDC confirmed yesterday that the event, won last year by Wales’ Jonny Clayton, would be held in the Morningside Arena for the second year in a row.
"The tournament had been set to return to Dublin's Citywest Convention Centre this year, but the venue was unable to host the event on the scheduled dates," the Professional Darts Corporation said in a statement.
