Five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld is back on the pro circuit after winning this Professional Darts Corporation Tour Card in Q School.
The Dutch legend, 53, quit the sport in December 2019 following a poor run of form.
Last September, 'Barney' changed his mind and targeted the PDC’s European Q School event, which is taking place in Niedernhausen, Germany.
Accumulated results from the past week, confirmed with a run to the quarter-finals today, secured enough points for the four-time BDO and 2007 PDC champion to make a return to the ProTour, which begins next week in Bolton.
Nine players from Ireland qualified for the Final Stage in the UK Q School.
Shane McGuirk, who landed a nine-dart leg during Monday's play, was best of the Irish today, losing 6-5 to Danny Baggish in the quarter-finals.
