Ireland's Keane Barry has qualified for the Junior Darts Corporation World Championship final in Alexandra Palace in December.
The 17-year-old Meath star battled his way through a tough field in Gibraltar yesterday, winning seven of eight games in his run to the semi-final.
Barry, who claimed the JDC International Open crown on Wednesday with a 100.5 average in the final, will play Adam Gawlas of the Czech Republic in the decider, which takes place during the World Championships in London.
The Duleek dartist also has an opportunity to feature in the showpiece tournament itself having qualified for the Tom Kirby Memorial final at Citywest on 12 October where he play Galway's Liam Gallagher.
The winner of that match, which takes place ahead of the World Grand Prix final, automatically qualifies for the World Championships.
