Cork cyclist Dillon Corkery has signed up with Dutch World Tour team Picnic-PostNL for 2026.
Corkery, 26, has spent this year competing for both French UCI Continental team St Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93 and Picnic-PostNL, who he rode for as a trainee.
He has now completed a permanent switch to Picnic-PostNL on a two-year deal, and will head for winter training camps to tune up for the new season.
"Delighted with the move and thankful to everyone at Team Picnic PostNL for giving me this opportunity on the World Stage," Corkery wrote on his website.
"This is the level I have been working towards for the last 17 years or so since I started out.
"A lot of hard work. That said, I didn't get to this point without a lot of help along the way.
"I'm really looking forward to this next part of my career. Continue the hard work to get me in a position to be considered for selection for races I've always dreamt of doing since I was a child.
"New races, new opportunities, new goals, new destinations.... with the right support at Team Picnic PostNL, I'm confident I can reach new heights too."
There are seven other Irishmen on the World Tour: Sam Bennett (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team), Jamie Meehan (Cofidis), Eddie Dunbar (Team Jayco AlUla), Ryan Mullen (Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe), Ben Healy (EF Education - EasyPost), Darren Rafferty (EF Education - EasyPost) and Archie Ryan (EF Education - EasyPost).
