Cycling Ireland are sending a six-strong team to Apeldoom, Netherlands for the second World Cup on the UCI Track Cycling calendar this weekend.
The Irish team of Eoin Mullen, Felix English, Mark Downey, Shannon McCurley, Lydia Boylan and Lydia Gurley will compete across seven events from Friday to Sunday.
Racing starts on Friday morning with English in the Scratch Race and Boylan in the Omnium.
English will be hopeful for a podium finish in the Scratch. He has come close to a medal in the 7.5km race over the last year, with a fourth place in the Track World Cup in Hong Kong last January and fifth in the European Track Championships last month.
